How to Organise your Family’s School Holiday’s

We all know that the school holiday’s can feel like they go on for ever and ever and ever! With children to keep entertained for up to 5, 6, 7 sometimes 8 weeks at a time can feel like a bit of a nightmare! Whether you’re working while your kids are off, spending time off together at home, or going away on a family holiday, you will still want to organise your half term weeks! Organise your family time I usually find a calendar template on word that covers the weeks that Mia’s off school, print it off and pencil in the days we are going to do things and…

Keeping Sun Safe with Solero Sun Protection

Like many of us in the UK we are not used to the hot weather! We never know whether it is going to be nice or not and one minute it can be sunny, the next minute raining! If you are looking for Summer Holiday Fashion (for all weathers) I have written about that too! When we do get hot weather it does have its downsides and for me, and that’s sun cream! I’m not a fan at all and only wear it when I absolutely have to! Here’s how we have been keeping sun safe this summer with Solero Sun Protection! With having the girls now, I obviously make…

Enjoying the Summer Holidays at Bluebell Dairy

We don’t get to do it very often, but we do love a good family day out and our favourite has probably been the VIP day at Peppa Pig World! As Mia is off for the summer, the thought of keeping her busy for 5 whole weeks can sometimes be a bit daunting not to mention how much extra it costs to go out for the day! So what have we been doing to make sure Mia is enjoying the Summer Holidays? This holiday we haven’t got loads and loads planned apart from a few trips to the library and Mia has been away with my mum for a few…

Holding onto Happy Holiday Memories with Truprint

Some of you might remember my post awhile ago about our Father’s Day gifts and how much we love personalised gifts! They offer something unusual, unique and are bound to create that amazing smile when you see the recipient open it up on their special day. Last year we went on our first family holiday and although we had an amazing time, it’s always nice to be able to look back on our family time and happy holiday memories when the holiday has long since passed. Truprint launched their #WhereverLifeTakesYou campaign this Summer and asked if we would like to get involved in showcasing some of their lovely summer holiday…

    Our Summer Holidays Week 6!

Well I can’t believe it is the last full week of the summer holidays! I was worried at the start of the 6 weeks how I was going to fill the time and actually there are a few things we haven’t got round to doing! This week has been really busy, mostly with getting ready for Mia starting school next week and catching up on bits and pieces! On Monday we had a day in so Mia decided to play with her Play Doh. I find it so annoying as the stuff goes everywhere but as she has got older, its a bit easier to contain! On Tuesday it was…

Snapshot of Our Month – August

I can’t quite believe that it’s the end of August already! This year is absolutely flying by and now I’m 5 months pregnant, it’s slowly dawning on me that this is actually happening now! So here is our snapshot of our month for August! This month we have done absolutely loads as it’s been the summer holidays. It’s been nice having Mia at home with me all of the time and we haven’t had too many falling’s out which is good! We have been to Rufford Abbey again which is one of our favourite places to visit. It was absolutely boiling hot and we were not dressed for it at…

    Our Summer Holidays Week 5

So the summer is drawing to an end and I have to say, I was worried about how I was going to fill Mia’s last holiday before starting school and we have had no trouble doing that at all! Here’s where you can find week 4. We are now just about to start week 6 and I can’t believe that Mia is off to school in less than 2 weeks! Here’s what we have been up to in our summer holidays week 5. On Tuesday Mia wanted to send a cute photo to daddy so obviously she did her cute face and put Sven in the photo too! On Wednesday…

Surviving the Summer Holidays Week 4!

I can’t believe this is the end of the summer holidays week 4! This means Mia starts school in just over 2 weeks’ time and I must get a move on with getting her uniform and school shoes sorted out! So this week we have been pottering around a little bit, getting some jobs done and spending time together before Mia goes to school. We have also been preparing for Mario’s birthday which is on Monday! We didn’t do anything exciting until Thursday this week (seriously don’t know where 3 days went!) when we met up with friends at Stoke Bardolph. I haven’t been for years and years and I…
