Terms & Conditions – Guest Posts & Collaborative Content

By submitting a guest post, requesting a collaborative feature, or engaging in any commercial content arrangement with beccafarrelly.co.uk, you (“Contributor” or “Client”) agree to the following terms:

1. Payment Terms

All content collaborations, sponsored posts, or guest contributions that involve a payment obligation must be fully paid for prior to publication, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Invoice Terms: Payment is due within 10 calendar days of the invoice issue date.
  • Late Payment Consequences:
    • If payment is not received within 10 days, the website owner reserves the right to:
      • Cancel the agreement unilaterally
      • Remove or de-index the published content and/or any backlinks
      • Charge a late payment fee calculated as 8% of the total invoice amount, multiplied by the number of days overdue
    • If payment is still not received within 15 days, a debt recovery fee of £40 will be added to the outstanding balance, in accordance with the UK Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

2. Content Ownership & Rights

  • Once content is published on beccafarrelly.co.uk, it becomes the intellectual property of the site unless otherwise agreed.
  • Removal or amendment of published content due to non-payment, breach of terms, or reputational risk is at the sole discretion of the site owner.

3. Editorial Control

The website owner retains full editorial control, including:

  • The right to reject or edit any submission
  • The right to refuse publication or remove any content that is misleading, plagiarised, spammy, or harmful to the reputation of the site

4. No Refunds

All payments are final. No refunds will be provided after a post is published unless otherwise stated in writing.

Post/links may be taken down if I am ever penalised by google without a refund (you will be notified by email if this happens)

5. Promotional & Commercial Disclosure

All paid content will be disclosed in compliance with UK ASA and CAP guidelines, including appropriate labels such as “Sponsored,” “Collaborative,” or “Ad” where applicable.

6. Legal Liability

  • The Contributor is solely responsible for ensuring that their submitted content:
    • Does not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, or third-party rights
    • Does not violate any laws, including defamation, libel, or slander
  • The website owner assumes no liability for legal issues arising from guest content.

7. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled through the appropriate UK small claims or civil court systems.

By submitting content, requesting collaboration, or proceeding with payment, you confirm your acceptance of these terms.
