Finding the perfect holiday destination that suits the whole family can be challenging. You have to consider everyone’s interests, accommodation types and food preferences.

Staying in the UK can often be the best way to ensure everyone is happy. Not only is it easier to navigate your way around, but there are plenty of destinations that tick all the boxes for a family holiday.

Cornwall

Known for its stunning coastline twinned with charming villages, Cornwall is a popular holiday spot in the warmer months. However, it is just as stunning out of season as well.

A wander through the historic Royal Mile will also prove interesting for the whole family. This stretch of the capital is home to several places of historical interest as well as some incredible eateries which will be needed after a long day of walking.

Nestled in southern England, the New Forest is the perfect place for a family of nature lovers. It is home to expansive woodlands, open moors and quaint villages and towns. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the herds of free-roaming ponies too.

North Wales

North Wales is a destination that melds natural beauty with adventure, making it ideal for families seeking a bit more of an active staycation.
