I have done Christmas Eve boxes for the girls for the last few years. It’s basically a box of Christmassy treats that we give the girls xmas eve afternoon. I tend to put the same types of things in each year and the kids love them! It can be hard to think up Christmas Eve Box contents so I have decided to show you what we have done in previous year’s for the girls. Hopefully you can find some inspiration for yours!
I made these boxes a couple of Christmases ago and they have lasted really well. The boxes were from Hobbycraft and are a great size to fit everything in. Then I stencilled their names and the date on (I’m not creative at all so I did my best!) and stencilled some little stars and things on them. I’m really pleased with them!
So, each year I include the following things:
- Christmas story book
- Christmas activity book
- Christmas DVD/film on Sky
- Christmas PJ’s
- Sweet cone
- Santa Key’s
I usually spend about £20 altogether on both boxes as let’s face it, Christmas is expensive enough! Let’s hope the kids like them! What do you think of our Christmas Eve Box contents?
