As a blogger it is really important to create a brand around your blog and its content. Not only do you create this brand on social media and your blog pages but there are so many blogging events that no doubt the time will come when you need some physical branded bits and pieces. When I noticed that Colour Graphics were looking for bloggers to review their business cards I was really interested as I had not got any business cards to do with my brand before and I’m planning on attending a couple of blogging events this year.
With 25 years of industry experience behind them, Colour Graphics are experts in colour printing. Whether you need posters or canvas prints, banner stands or business cards, they are sure to have everything you and your business needs! I have had business cards made before for my own gifts business but as my blog is becoming more and more successful I realised that I wanted some blog business cards to show off too!
The process of creating your business cards is fairly straight forward; choose your material, whether you want single or double-sided cards, and the quantity required. The website takes you through it all step-by-step so you can see what options you are selecting. Once added to your cart, a number of postage options appear where you can pay extra to specify a delivery date (can be very pricey!) otherwise its free for the 4 day delivery option, which is great! Once this is done, you then have to upload your image to the website which isn’t really clear at first and put me off clicking the ‘proceed to checkout’ button initially.
If you were unsure as to how to design yourself a business card, you may struggle to get much further than this so I feel this part of the process could be a lot clearer than it is as I would expect to upload my image before this point in the ordering process. Uploading to the website is easy however there is no preview option so you wouldn’t know if there was an issue with the image until its printed. Colour Graphics also do not check the cards before printing (unless you pay an extra £20) so this could result in an error. I will add that if you have experience of designing and ordering business cards then you will have no issue at all with the process and of course these are minor issues once you get the cards delivered!
The business cards I received are of really high quality, the finish is lovely and the image and text really clear and crisp. I love the image I designed to be printed and the cards have a great look and feel to them. I would have no issue giving them out to fellow bloggers and I’m really looking forward to taking them with me to the blogging events that I have coming up! The ordering process could be clearer as it seems slightly overcomplicated. I think it needs a preview available and the fact you cannot design your cards on the website itself may put people off ordering however when you can get 50 high quality printed business cards for £25.20, you will be more than happy with Colour Graphics!

I think I go through a set of business cards once a year, they’re definitely handy to have.
Thanks for sharing your review on #TriedTested this week x

Yes I don’t go to many events and the few I did go to, I forgot my cards! However they are now in my bag all the time so I can be more prepared! 🙂

These look great – not something I’ve ever done actually, I’ve not really had any situations when I’d need to hand them out but perhaps I should have some just in case. Thanks for linking to #sharewithme

They will definitely come in handy once I pluck up the courage to get myself to blogger events this year! 🙂
