In many respects, this might be the fun part. You want to make sure that your truck itself is going to be easy to work from and that it will have everything you need to make great pizza. Think carefully about layout, where you will put the toppings station and where the commercial pizza oven will go. And think about how to make it attractive and welcoming too. You’ll also have to consider safety issues and carry out some risk assessments around it, so bear that in mind as you plan it out.
Craft Your Menu
Bear in mind that a good pizza place should offer a decent number of different pizzas. You might want to start off with 4-5 popular pizza types and then mix in some seasonal or branded alternatives. This can be a good way to carve out a selling point – if you become known for a particular kind of pizza, for instance, that can be really good for business. In any case, it’s important that you have a menu that people are going to salivate over.
