Snapshot of Our Month – May

So welcome to the Snapshot of Our Month for May! This month has seen Mia turn 4 and we have spent a week of half term together as well as announcing that Mia is going to be a big sister! This of course is very exciting for us all and is something I have previously written about deciding on.

We had Mia’s birthday party at our local Pirate Play Centre which is a soft play area that Mia has been to once before. We chose it because they organise everything for you and we just had to bring the cake and turn up on the day! I was far less stressful than last year and we had a great time! Mia absolutely loved it and so did her friends! She was very lucky as she got some amazing presents too!

On her actual birthday we went for a meal with my dad and his wife as they couldn’t come to Mia’s party. We chose pizza as Mia loves pizza and she really enjoyed eating out at a proper restaurant!

Mario took some time off towards the end of the month so we decided to take a last minute trip to Skegness for the afternoon. It’s somewhere we really like going and Mia loves playing in the sand. It’s a long trip of just over 2 hours for us but it’s a great day out!

We finally had some sunshine didn’t we?! Although short lived as its currently raining here again, we got the paddling pool out and Mia literally spent the day in and out of it playing and splashing around!
