I have written before about how hard I find it to choose Father’s Day gifts for Mario and my dad. They aren’t the kind of people who ‘collect’ things or who are particularly bothered about birthdays and Father’s Day celebrations, so it makes it really tricky to show our appreciation for them each year.
The types of things I tend to buy them is personalised mugs and things that they can actually use. Then my stepdad loves chocolate and my dad loves wine gums, so I usually get them some of those. Mario tends to get a bottle of red as I don’t drink red wine, so we don’t tend to have it in the house much but apart from that it’s not very exciting! TRENDHIM got in touch to see if we would like to sample some of the range of men’s accessories, they offer so we were excited to choose a couple of pieces for Mario this year.
TRENDHIM have brought together a huge range of fashionable yet affordable accessories just for men. They sell everything from wallets to pocket squares, watches to scarves and with over 13 brands in their portfolio, there will be something for every daddy out there!
I chose a tie clip and a pair of cufflinks for Mario as he has a tie clip already but is always misplacing it so having a second would be a big help! He also has a big collection of cuff links and wears them every day so I know he will definitely use them (although it’s getting tricky to find some he hasn’t got already!).
Stylish Father’s Day Gifts
I literally never knew there were so many different kinds of tie clips in the world! Who knew?! There are gold ones, silver ones, plain ones and patterned ones so I chose a nice silver metal alloy Warren Asher one with 3 fine vertical lines engraved into it (£19). Its subtle but really stylish. It’s a little bit smaller than I had perhaps expected but on reading the description it does state it would suit narrower ties due to its short design. I know he will love it! You can also get the tie clips personalised with your own little message which is a cute idea for Father’s Day.
With Mario already having a huge selection, I was looking for something a little different in the form of cufflinks. He has some quite ‘out-there’ ones so I decided to go along the same route as the tie clip and went for a stylish but subtle design. Again, by Warren Asher, they are silver-toned stainless-steel cubes with 5 oblique lines covering half of each cuff link (£35). They will go with every suit shirt he has and could be worn for an important meeting or every day in the office. Again you can personalise these with a little message to give it that extra special touch.
The accessories can all be sent gift boxed and gift wrapped for an extra charge. I would say to definitely order them in a box as I had expected the cuff links at least to come in a box and they didn’t. They would definitely look nicer to give as a gift if they were in a box so just bear this in mind.
I really like the feel of the site and the number of products is quite incredible! They have such a large selection you will definitely find the perfect stylish Father’s Day gifts this year!
