Capturing Family Memories with Pictabulous Canvas Prints

We love taking photos and since having the girls, like most parents, pretty much all of our photograph collection is of them! We don’t tend to do anything with the photos once they have been taken, they just sit on our devices and backed up every now and again. However, every once in a while, you take a photo that you want to display for everyone to see. Then you have to decide the best way to showcase it.

We worked with Truprint on personalising our Father’s Day gifts and are really pleased to be working with Pictabulous this time. Pictabulous are a team of creative people who are passionate about art. They create unique photo-based pieces of artwork.

Picking Your Canvas

Choosing from 3 categories of artistic styles; Fantasy, Fun and Fine art, you can now create your own beautiful, personal piece of art. We wanted to create a canvas print in the impressionist style, so I picked a photograph of the 3 of us on Skegness beach a while ago. It’s one of my favourite photographs and one I use for a lot of social media pieces but have never actually had it printed before! The Impressionist style canvas is based on classic thin brush strokes and creates a lovely texture to any photograph which was perfect for our photo.

Creating Your Print

There are 4 simple steps to creating your print; select a style from the wide variety available, upload your photo and customise it (landscape, portrait, square and finally size of canvas), add it to cart, and complete checkout! You are then asked to approve the image within 4 days to make sure you are happy, and it is then sent off to be created for you. This is usually within 10 days but could be quicker!

Our Family Memories

We chose an 8 x 12 landscape canvas print which is perfect for where I want it to go and this currently costs £30. I really love the effect of the print itself and the image created. The colours are striking and bright as well as being balanced and actually look like us still! I love the print and the overall effect.

We have had so many comments on how lovely the print is and now we have a new addition, I would love to get another to include her too! I think these canvas prints by Pictabulous make the perfect gift for family and close friends or just a great way to brighten up your walls with amazing family memories!
