There are lots of great theatres showing musicals on a regular basis in London. If your kids are into that kind of thing and you want to have fun on your day out, you could take in a matinee show. You should think about which show is going to be most enjoyable for your whole family. Musical theatre can incorporate a wide range of shows, and some of the most popular in London at the moment include the Lion King and Aladdin.
Exploring London’s Parks and Playgrounds
There’s such a wide range of outdoor activities you can do in London, and the outdoor spaces often get overlooked in London. You won’t be disappointed by the range of sea life that’s featured here, and the place is big enough for you to spend the best part of a day there with your family if you want to.
The London Eye
The London Eye is obviously one of the biggest landmarks in the capital, but to really understand just how special and important it is, you need to take the time to head up there and ride it. It gives the most incredible views over the London skyline and when you have a pod reserved for you and your family, you can see over the city from all angles. It’s a whole lot of fun and should definitely be incorporated into a day out in London.
A Sightseeing Bus Tour
There’s no shortage of great sightseeing bus tours in London that you can make the most of. The best ones will allow you to see all of the highlights, and when the sun’s out and the weather’s good, there’s nothing stopping you from sitting on the top deck and enjoying it with the family. It’s a good way to get across the city while seeing the key landmarks at the same time.
