Last December you may remember me writing about our experience of the Snowman Tour and you may remember that we have been to the Snowman Tour a couple of times now. Well it has started to become one of our little family Christmas Traditions! Cover image for the Snowman Tour

The Snowman

The Snowman Tour is really special as not only do you get to watch the film itself on a huge screen surrounded by other Snowman fans, you also get to watch it with a live orchestra playing the iconic music from the film. It really is incredible and really lovely to listen to. We were all really excited to go back and see if it would be as good as last year! As well as watching the Snowman, last year we saw The Bear and the Piano read by Joanna Lumley and this year was the turn of The Donkey’s Tale!

The Donkey’s Tale

The Donkey’s Tale is a heart-warming story about Dillon the Donkey, an ordinary donkey with an extraordinary dream that takes him on a journey that will change his life! It has been specially written and composed by Daniel Whibley and was lovely to watch on the big screen as we hadn’t heard the story before. It kept Mia’s attention the whole way through and it was lovely to see her enjoy something so special.

Christmas Traditions

Watching the Snowman Tour has become a bit of a family Christmas tradition for us and it’s so lovely to see Mia enjoying such an iconic film as well as getting the experience of a real-life orchestra. The Snowman even made an appearance himself, much to the children’s delight!

The tour has been making its way across the country and at the time of writing this post, it still has to make its way to many more so grab your tickets now while you can by going to Carrot Productions. If you love the Snowman, it’s definitely not one to be missed!
