Slow Cooker Cuban Beef

A lovely beef dish perfect for a winters evening!

  • Slow Cooker


  • 500G g Stewing Beef
  • 240 ml Beef Stock
  • 400 g Chopped Tomatoes
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Green Peppers sliced into strips
  • 2 Red Peppers sliced into strips
  • 4 Cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Puree
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Coriander
  • 1 Red Wine Stock Pot
  • 1 tbsp White Wine Vinegar
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper


  • Put2 tbsp of olive oil into the slow cooker and turn to high
  • Brown the meat in a pan over heat
  • Place the meat into the slow cooker
  • Add all of the ingredients and give it a good stir through
  • Leave for 6 hours on high
  • Shred the meat with a fork
  • Serve with rice
