Our Summer Holidays Week 5

So the summer is drawing to an end and I have to say, I was worried about how I was going to fill Mia’s last holiday before starting school and we have had no trouble doing that at all! Here’s where you can find week 4. We are now just about to start week 6 and I can’t believe that Mia is off to school in less than 2 weeks! Here’s what we have been up to in our summer holidays week 5.

On Tuesday Mia wanted to send a cute photo to daddy so obviously she did her cute face and put Sven in the photo too!

On Wednesday we weren’t sure what to do but mum had the day off so we decided to go to Sherwood Pines and do the Gruffalo Spotters Trail again as we enjoyed it so much a few weeks ago. It was a bit wet so we spent a couple of hours there and then went off to explore a new soft play!

On Friday we spent an hour at the park because the weather really warmed up and although I really, really dislike the park, Mia wanted to go and it was really sunny!

On Saturday we went to get the last of Mia’s school uniform and although it was a complete disaster, we got her to try everything on to make sure it fits and she looks amazing! So grown up and I actually got a bit teary!

On Sunday we went to the local garden centre and they have some great features there for children. There’s a giant gorilla, a load of dinosaurs and a huge polar bear. Mia wanted to sit on the polar bear for a photo!

So I think this week has been the busiest so far and as I’m aware of how close we are to school starting, I imagine next week will be just as busy!
